It’s that time of year again: ‘Ibiza 2011’ albums are starting to land on Addicted’s desk every day. Whether it’s a compilation mix CDs, an Ibiza bar/club releasing their annual record, or an Ibiza DJ releasing a new album to coincidence with their residency on the island; it’s hard to select which album you want to define your summer. To help you narrow down your selection, here are some top records from big names in Ibiza this summer.

The record: Tiesto Club Life volume one Tiesto

The club night: Monday nights at Priviledge

The low-down: Love it or hate it, Tiesto’s new Club Life series moves away from the heavy trance of his In Search of Sunrise mixes. Some die-hard fans may have reacted badly, but the vocal-heavy house has become a fixture on Addicted’s iPod since it was released last month.

The record: Defected in the House Ibiza 2011 Defected

The club night: Saturday nights at Pacha

The low-down: This album is a 3-CD mix of straight-up house music – everything you need to please the crowd at your pre-party.

The record: Until One by the Swedish House MafiaUntilone

The club night: Monday nights at Pacha

The low-down: It’s been around since October 2010, but as their Monday night at Pacha becomes one of Ibiza’s top destinations this summer, this record will become a necessity. Better get it on the iPod now if it isn’t there already.
